How to fix the habit of procrastination

The meaning of procrastination is that you don’t get up right away to do the work that you have to do, and you sit back and forth. If you do it, you know it will be done, and if you don’t do it, it means you are lazy.

Forgive yourself for procrastinating.

Tell yourself that you will do it soon.

Because being too lazy to do a task is just being too lazy to think about doing it for a long time. If you don’t think like that, think that I will do this job in 15 minutes. While doing so, I might be interested in this job. So trick yourself into thinking you’ll be doing it for a while.

Divide the work you are going to do into small pieces and do it.

For example. . If you have 10 exercises to do, start thinking about each one without thinking about all 10. If I think like that, I won’t be procrastinating anymore. By taking small steps, you can complete a big task.

Remove distractions from your work area.

If you don’t need your phone while working, keep it away from you. When I use the Internet near my phone, I tend to be too lazy to continue working.

Listen to music without lyrics.

If you enjoy listening to music, listen to little tunes without lyrics. Because if you listen to a song with lyrics, it can be confusing.

Visualize the benefits of completing this work.

For example, read a book. Please think that if I read this book, I will gain a lot of knowledge. Imagine the benefits of the work you will do.

One last thing that will get you up right away. That is, when you know that you are procrastinating, count from 1 to 5. After counting, stand up immediately. Then immediately get up and do the work that needs to be done. That completely eliminates the habit of procrastinating.
